Ashe County Christmas Event

This festive event features BBQ sandwiches, hotdogs, chips, beverages, and smores by the firepit! The Sheriff will read a holiday story at 5:00 PM, and the 5:30 PM door prize drawing will include amazing prizes. Every child, ages 12 and under, will receive toys, and the Sheriff will also give away free books to kids!

Ashe Sheriffs Event Meeting Minutes

1.  Saturday, December 21, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Cook team will arrive evening before)
2. Reading by Sherrif at 5:00 PM
3. Giveaway Drawing at 5:30 PM
4. Sheriff Office will provide plates/Togo boxes for inmates meals (75-120)
5. Planning for 2,000 (expecting 1,000 depending on weather)
6. Ernie and Sheriff Dept will be looking for a forklift
7. Giveaway with CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship)
8. 15-18 min large group Christmas presentation
9. Fill out the giveaway ticket (do not need to be present to win, if not picked up that night Sheriff Dept. can deliver to house)
