Our 47th Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway & Community Dinner is scheduled to be held Monday, December 23, 2024, at the Durham Rescue Mission Main Campus located at 1201 E Main St, Durham, NC 27701. Doors open at 11:00AM and the event starts at 12:00PM
We’re in need of volunteers, hams, turkeys and toys for this event. If you can volunteer or provide a ham, turkey or some toys, please call our office at (919) 688-9641, 5025.
Activities for the day will include free toys for children in attendance, a free hot turkey & ham dinner with all the trimmings, and hot dogs. PLUS, a bag of groceries will be given to every family to take home and cook for another meal. In addition, there will be a variety of carnival games with prizes for the children as well as free clothing items given away.

Each year the Durham Rescue Mission gives away thousands of Christmas toys to children in need. We are quickly approaching our Annual Christmas Community Event and are in great need of Christmas toys. At this time we need to replenish our supply of toys for boys and girls, ages 0-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12.
