May 21, at 1201 East Main St, at 10:00 am, 33 men and women received certificates of completion from the Durham Rescue Mission’s 1 year recovery program. This is our largest graduating class!
These men and women were in crisis when they came to the Mission and they have courageously fought against addictions, homelessness, abusive relationships, and other bad choices in their past. Today, they have hope and a bright future and we want to share their time in the limelight with their families, friends, and our supportive community.
This year, the graduates include 11 women and 22 men. We are pleased to announce that 75% of the graduates already have jobs or are attending Durham Tech. To learn more you can read about the Graduates’ testimonies and accomplishments in our 2013 Graduation book!
