Friday, March 29 1,862 people attended the Durham Rescue Mission’s Annual Easter Community Dinner. 297 volunteers at the Mission distributed 1,052 Easter Baskets, 500 free bags of groceries, over 5,000 articles of clothing, and served 1,585 meals! Thank you to Merck Pharmaceuticals for preparing over 700 Easter Baskets for our Easter Event! The Durham Rescue Mission would also like to thank everyone in the community who donated their time or made financial contributions to our event.
