We are asking the community to help provide 300 turkeys and 150 hams for homeless and hurting men, women, and children who will be attending the Durham Rescue Mission’s Thanksgiving Drive-thru and Christmas Community Dinner.
The Thanksgiving Drive-thru for the homeless and hurting will be at 11:00 AM on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, at the Durham Rescue Mission’s Main Campus at 1201 E Main St.
The Christmas Community and Toy Give-Away (tentatively scheduled due to COVID) will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.
Thanksgiving is only two weeks away. We need approximately 300 turkeys and 150 hams to carry us through the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Please help us provide for those who are homeless and hurting in our community.
Together, with the help of caring people in the Triangle area, we can make Thanksgiving special for those who are homeless and hurting.
If you would like to purchase a turkey or ham, you may drop it off at 1201 E Main St or 507 E Knox St by Tuesday, November 24, 2020, or call (919) 688-9641, x 5025.
