Thank you for choosing to participate in our Blind Auction for the opportunity to have your photo taken with Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Jaccob Slavin and the Stanley Cup.

Your bid not only gives you the chance to win this unforgettable experience, but it also helps provide food, shelter, recovery programs, and hope to men, women, and children served by the Durham Rescue Mission.

Once you’ve completed the form, click Submit My Bid to officially enter your bid. You’ll get an email confirming the amount you entered.

Auction Rules

  • The five highest bids win a photo with Jaccob Slavin and the Stanley Cup.
  • All bids must be submitted by Tuesday, August 12.
  • You may increase your bid — updated bids are also due August 12.
  • Every bidder is contacted on August 12, selected or not.
  • Winning bidders must submit payment by Thursday, August 14.
  • The event is Saturday, August 22 in North Raleigh.

What Happens Next?

  • All bids must be submitted by Tuesday, August 12.
  • Bids may be increased, but all updated bids must be submitted by Tuesday, August 12.
  • After the bidding period closes, the five highest bids will be selected.
  • A Durham Rescue Mission representative will contact you on August 12 to let you know whether your bid was selected.
  • If your bid is one of the five highest, payment must be received no later than Thursday, August 14, to secure your photo opportunity.
  • The event is Saturday, August 22. The exact location and time will be revealed prior to the event; however, it will be in North Raleigh.

Important: Winning bids are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash value. If selected, failure to submit payment may result in the opportunity being offered to the next highest bidder.

Check-In Information

Men & Women

  • Must provide a photo I.D. within 30 days of your acceptance into the DRM program.
  • Help out with chores around the Mission.
  • No sex offender of any type (pending, charged, registered and/or any other sex related offenses) will be permitted to check in.
  • The following will be provided – shelter, food, clothing, and biblical counseling.

For Mothers with Children

  • Children up to 12 years of age.
