In the air there’s a feeling of Christmas . . .
But for countless men, women and children here in the Triangle, the holiday feels sad and lonely.
Our neighbors are hungry. Many are homeless. And while the rest of us gather with family and friends at Christmas, they feel left out — cut off from the celebration of the season.
If you and I don’t help them, who will?
I’m asking you to help us welcome hungry souls to the Durham Rescue Mission and make them feel right at home. Your help is especially needed to feed them — and $2.05 is all it takes for us to provide a complete dinner and other vital services to a hungry and homeless person.
You will help a hurting person feel loved and cared for this Christmas. And for someone who is homeless or battling addiction, a hot meal here at the Durham Rescue Mission can be their first step on the road to recovery.
Imagine all the good you can do! Please send your most generous gift today. It might just be the most meaningful gift you give this holiday season. Thank you!
Merry Christmas!
