Help Neighbors in Need this Summer!

  Donate

I’m reaching out on behalf of the homeless people of the Triangle — with an urgent plea for help as the summer heat kicks up.

Summer is an especially critical time of year at the Durham Rescue Mission — because our donations go down as many of our friends leave for well-deserved vacations. And this puts a strain on our ability to minister to hungry and homeless people.

You see, the needs of our struggling neighbors don’t fall off in the heat of the summer. In fact, with so many people outside, summer can be an especially difficult and dangerous time.

This summer, countless men, women and children will walk through our doors looking for food, shelter, showers, clothing and a way to a better life!

We want to provide life-changing services to all who come to the Durham Rescue Mission. But we need your help!

The summer heat really takes a bite out of our budget because our utilities spike this time of year.

That’s why I’m asking you to make a contribution of $2.05 of more to help feed and give hope to a needy individual in Triangle:

The gifts from caring friends like you help make our services possible. You can be a true blessing to people in desperate need this summer.

Sincerely,
Dr. Ernie Mills
