Welcome to the Durham Rescue Mission’s Ambassadors’ page

The Durham Rescue Mission would be excited to have you join our team as a liaison between your church and our ministry. Our goal is for this club to be a blessing to you and your church’s outreach ministry, while increasing awareness about the ministries of the Durham Rescue Mission.

Requirements:

• Attend quarterly meetings at the Durham Rescue Mission or Good Samaritan Inn. (TBA)
  

• Update your Pastor and church family on current projects and needs at the Durham Rescue Mission.

• Recruit volunteers for special projects.
   
   
• Organize collection drives for needed items.

Ambassador Club Members participation is vital to the ministries of the Durham Rescue Mission. With your help and the involvement of your church family, together we can continue to help to those in need in our community.

New Members:

New members will receive a Durham Rescue Mission shirt at the first Ambassador Club meeting. The mission will provide one shirt per church. Additional shirts can be purchased for $25.00.

We would like to encourage you to wear your shirt.  Often when others see the shirt, they will approach you with questions about our ministry, giving you an excellent opportunity to share the ministry of the Durham Rescue Mission.
